A wealthy man lies on his deathbed, surrounded by physicians and mourning women. To the left, a table is laden with dishes and jewelry. Through the doorway, miniature devils are seen whisking the rich man away into the sky. In the foreground to the left, an open chest of money can be seen. The print features a Latin inscription, as well as Dutch and French subtitles. It is part of a series depicting the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
