This captivating piece features two scenes set in a cartouche. The top one depicts a battlefield where a doctor is caring for the wounded in front of a tent. The bottom scene takes us inside a hospital ward, where another doctor diligently tends to the injured. Sandwiched between these two scenes is the title, beautifully inscribed in Latin. The artwork's imprint can be found at the bottom, enclosed within a cartouche.
