In this captivating piece, the Virgin Mary is depicted standing on a crescent moon, cradling the Christ Child in her arms. Beneath the moon, a dragon lurks. Mary is adorned with a crown of stars and holds a scepter. Above her, the Holy Spirit is represented as a dove, flanked by the sun to the left and the moon to the right. At the top center, God the Father with the crucified Christ is depicted. Surrounding Mary are angels, apostles, martyrs, and saints. At the bottom right of the print, we see spiritual power embodied by the Pope, cardinals, and bishops. To the left, worldly power is represented by an emperor, kings, and sovereigns. At the very bottom center, hellfire rages. The print is accompanied by a Latin caption.
