The painting captures a stunning landscape featuring a fountain on the left, from which a dragon spews water. Flanking the dragon are sphinxes, also spewing water. In the backdrop, there's a water basin with a gondola floating serenely. On the shore, figures can be seen interacting, including a fisherman engrossed in his work. This artwork is inspired by the painted wall panel in the room of merchant David Bueno de Mesquita's house.
