About this piece
In a bustling workshop where precious metals are transformed into exquisite objects, Saint Eligius diligently hammers the chalice's cup, with its base already prepared. To his left, an apprentice pulls gold wire through progressively smaller molds. At the workbench, two more assistants are busy, surrounded by a plethora of tools. On the right wall, hammers, pliers, and files hang neatly in a rack. To the left stands the metal smelting furnace.
