An allegorical scene depicting an Italian soothsayer presenting remedies to cure the French disease. On the left, a Jesuit and a priest watch in shock. The sides of the image feature eight medallions illustrating the conflict between France and the Allies through animal representations. Below the main image, there is a text in Dutch divided into three columns. This piece is part of a series of satirical prints targeting Louis XIV during the War of Spanish Succession, around 1701-1713.
