An intriguing Orangist allegorical representation where a Batavian, embodying Hercules, banishes the monster of Discord to hell. On the left side of the medallion, a trophy is adorned with the weapons of Discord, while on the right, another trophy flaunts the weapons of Unity. At the top, the sun shines brightly with an orange branch and olive branch, symbolizing peace and prosperity. In contrast, darkness prevails at the bottom, represented by a skull and patriotic pamphlets. The painting is surrounded by a Latin inscription and a garland with text. This artwork was used in Johannes le Francq van Berkhey's work from 1801 to 1804. An additional explanation accompanies this print.
